According to Sara Donati, there's a new filmed version of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice in the works. I'll probably see this at some point, since the idea of Keira Knightley in a costume drama just makes me all a-twitter. But then, Keira Knightley in just about anything makes me all a-twitter.
Anyway, here's a question, for those of you who've read Jane Austen: How big a thing is it that I've never read Jane Austen? Is she a "You really should read her someday" author, or a "WHAT??!! Put down the worn copy of The Illuminatus! Trilogy and start reading her now, dummy!" author? I've been suspecting the latter, since she's probably right up the alley of a romantically-inclined fellow like myself.
