In the round of serious thunderstorms that swept through the Buffalo area the other night, the E.B. Green House at Buffalo State College, part of the Richardson Complex (generally held to be the current focus of Buffalo's preservation community), was struck by lightning and gutted in the ensuing fire. The House is very likely a total loss. This image from Flickr is part of a photostream of images of the burned-out hulk. Sad.
