Here's what I want....

I wish that there was a company that would do "a la carte" DVD versions of TV
series. There are plenty of TV series that I simply don't want to own in their entirety on DVD, but would gladly welcome a set of episodes I particularly enjoyed. That would be cool. I like the idea, for example of the X-Files sets that present the "mytharc" episodes and nothing else, but there are a slew of "Monster of the week" episodes I'd like to have as well. Not all of them, mind you, but quite a few.

(I know, I know, in the coming all-digital, all-broadband world, we'll be able to just cue up whatever piece of filmed entertainment we want and watch it at will, just like the computer on Star Trek that contains every piece of content ever.)
