Art in the Park
Buffalo readers take note: If you're looking for something to do this coming Sunday, check out Art in the Park at the Charles E. Burchfield Nature and Art Center in West Seneca. Not only is this particular park a wonderful place that I consider to be one of Buffalo's best-kept secrets, one of the participating artists happens to be a colleague of mine at The Store. Both the art show and admission to the park are free, which is, of course, best of all. Come on out! And if this is your first time visiting the Burchfield Nature and Art Center, remember to come back when it's not hosting a special event. It's one of the best places to bring the kids for a picnic and the kind of "lazy-day" fun that summer is supposed to be about in Western New York.
