Sentential Links #131

OK, time for some more links. Sorry I didn't have them yesterday, but for one reason or another, time just got away from me last night, and suddenly it was 9:30 pm and I was starting my nightly zone-out.

Anyhow:

:: I know of another family in which a mentally retarded mother has two mentally retarded children she is unable to care for. Would it have been better if those children had never been born? (A question-raising post is always nice. I think about issues like this a lot.)

:: Fifty-five hundred an hour???????? (Tell me about it. How can it have possibly cost that much?)

:: I'm ready Uncle George, take me now!

:: The online feeding frenzy against Hillary Clinton is driving me crazy. And that's despite the fact that I support Obama and, all things considered, think Hillary should probably withdraw from the race.

:: Meanwhile, Anthony is driving ever closer to the secluded clearing where he disposes of the bodies.

:: The induction of the irascible and oft-maligned John Mellencamp into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame last night, got me to reminiscing about how much I actually like his music. (Not a big fan, myself, but he's deserving of his slot in the Hall, I think.)

:: They don't make producers like that any more, folks.

:: I failed my save vs. stunning blow, so forgive me if this isn't the most polished thing in the world.

All for now. I'll try to have next week's edition on the right day. But I might fail. You know how it is.

(On seeing this post after publishing, it looks awfully short, because my links are pretty short this time. Don't let that dissuade you -- good stuff abounds, as always. My links are certified Good Stuff!)

RE the $5500 an hour. I think that buys powerful people lots of privacy and protection (most times) and also extra special kinky stuff.
