I was just poking around the message boards at BrightWeavings (that's the semi-official Guy Gavriel Kay site, a onetime hangout of mine), and I see some reports that Ysabel, GGK's new novel, which I'd planned on not being able to read until its offical release date in February, is already showing up in Canadian bookstores.
And not one of my Canadian readers has yet offered to buy me one and send it to me! Betrayers, I say! Betrayers, all of you!!
(No, I don't really expect people to up and buy me books. But it would be nice, you know? That way I wouldn't have to do any unseemly pouting on my blog!)

Well, that's unlikely, unless CH has moved on to other things. I wasn't on the board long enough yesterday to see if he was still around or not.

There was another one recently? Are you saying that GGK handed out copies of the book to the attendees? Ach! I've exchanged personal e-mail with GGK! The betrayal goes all the way to the top! Aieee!!!
(Ah well, it's only six weeks or so until the book comes out anyway...and then another four years until the next, so I've got plenty of time!)
