Several readers of mine charged in to let me know what the problem was with the table in yesterday's football post. I'd just like to thank everyone who chimed in. It turns out that I had not accounted for Blogger converting carriage returns into line breaks in the main posting window when I posted the table code one line at a time. The suggestion several folks made -- to eliminate those breaks and run it all together -- was exactly right. You're all geniuses! Thanks!
