If any of my readers are particularly tech-savvy and can give Jayme some advice on his current tale of tech woe, I'm sure he'd be appreciative. It seems that all of his data -- all of it -- was on an external hard drive that was somehow messed up beyond repair, or so he's told, but the gentlest of bumps. Ouch.
And now if you'll excuse me, I need to run my own backups.
