I read Gregg Easterbrook's Tuesday Morning Quarterback column at NFL.com faithfully, even though Easterbrook often will say something so outlandish that I wonder how he can possibly believe it. (Kevin Drum caught him doing it elsewhere, recently.) Easterbrook's column for this week is a real keeper, because about halfway through he stops talking about football for just a moment to provide some hilarious commentary on the transcript of some self-anointed "psychic" who did cold-readings by telephone on the Larry King Show. It's great stuff -- and a little depressing when you realize that plenty of folks aren't at all dissuaded from their beliefs in psychics by stuff like this.
(Easterbrook's columns are long and don't provide any internal anchor links, so just do a search for the text "Larry King" and start reading from that point, if you're totally uninterested in the football stuff.)
