Something for Thursday
Sometimes one wants a bit of musical perfection; when I'm in such a mood, I generally turn to one of two sources: Mozart or Bach. Here is Hilary Hahn playing the Gavotte from Bach's Partita No. 3 in E for solo violin:

one of those pieces of music I've always loved but couldn't have identified the name if you gave me lots of money
It's funny; for me, the Brandenburg Concerti sound best on period instruments, but I'm not such a purist on the solo pieces.
