I love how the blogging phenomenon has now reached a point where not only are longtime bloggers becoming professional writers, but also professional writers are launching blogs. (I like to think that this all somehow bodes well for me, the constant amateur.) A nifty case-in-point comes via Terry Teachout, who alerts his readers that Alex Ross, the music critic for The New Yorker, is blogging. I'd never read Ross much before this (mainly because I don't read The New Yorker much), but I sure loved this article of his.
Anyway, check him out.
