Anniversaries

Many bloggers are noting today's anniversary of the Tiannenman Square massacre in Beijing, fifteen years ago today. The BBC has a good page devoted to it here (via Gregory Harris); also check out this MSN article.

Incidentally, I haven't seen any mention made of the other major news story from the same weekend as the Tiananmen Square crackdown: the day before, on June 3, 1989, the Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini died in Iran.
