Somehow I'm having trouble with the idea that J. K. Rowling, having written the first Potter novel whilst on the dole, would necessarily endorse a Libertarian, Ayn Rand-ian reading of her work. But maybe Ms. Rowling has seen the light, now that she's richer than the Queen and all.
