Remember at the end of Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country, when the Enterprise and the Excelsior both fly off after saving the Federation from disaster, and Excelsior dwarfed the grand old Enterprise? That's what I thought of when I saw the third photo in Craig's post on the Queen Mary II's first voyage to the West Coast.
