Something for Thursday

I'm currently reading The Arabian Nights, so here is some music in that vein: a suite from Bernard Herrmann's score to The 7th Voyage of Sinbad.

Of course, the ultimate work in this vein is Rimsky-Korsakov's stunning Scheherazade, of which I'll have more to say at a later date.

Good Lord man, get into the real think and watch yourself some 'Golden Voyage of Sinbad' from 1972 - John Phillip Law, Caroline Monroe and Dr. Who Tom Baker as the evil Prince Koura. I'd like your review.
