:: Under the auspices of Regis-and-whatshername's teevee show, the other day saw the setting of a world record in New York City with the world's biggest pie fight. Of course, as pie fights go, it's pretty weak tea -- just people randomly throwing the pies in any direction whatsoever. It's certainly nothing like the pie fight from The Great Race, for example...but oh well!

Sire, do not kill the goose that lays the golden eggs. The genesis of your being and thus creative energy comes from your sublime adaptation to a meager level of income. Envying a writer who has achieved monetary sucess compromises passion for the craft.
My god, if Dan Brown's lambasting by cynical post grads bothers you, how does the Juliard student perservere as a telemarketer while rapper dicky dee and country music star Lacy Horndoggie play over the intercome on their second job as a sales clerk?
