Heh...a self-appointed 'fashion expert' (which are a dime a dozen) pens a rant about how much he hates overalls (with said rants also being a dime a dozen). What's interesting is that he swiped one of my own profile photos with which to make his point, and yet, he neither notified me nor asked my permission. Imagine that. It always amuses me when people fancy themselves edgy or hip, but they don't even have the guts to tell those at whom they are directing their ire.

For someone who supposedly hates overalls that much, that guy did a pretty lousy job selecting pictures to further his argument that they're not attractive. So not only is he a gutless jerk, he's a gutless jerk who can't make a coherent argument.
Also, apropos of nothing, I've been reading your blog for years, and as a result, I've gotten into the works of Guy Gavriel Kay. Ysabel wasn't a great starting point, but the Sarantine Mosaic is astounding. Thank you for the recommendation.

I have a "Where to start with GGK" post in the archives (click the GGK label and you'll find it someplace). No, Ysabel wouldn't be a great starting point! But he hasn't written a genuine clunker yet, in my opinion. I love him so, and I'm glad to have introduced him to someone!

SK: Heh! I honestly don't give a rip about his opinion of overalls, or of me, for that matter. But using my photo without my permission is really uncool. I'd almost certainly have let him, even if he'd said, "I think you look ridiculous and I want to use your photo as evidence against you." Like I care!
tell that dude he owes you money. and pay up right now. the jerk. I love overalls.
