Pumpkins Ahoy!

This past weekend, the family and I traveled southward into Western New York's Southern Tier for our annual excursion to Pumpkinville. It was a colder and windier day than usual, so our visit was quite a bit more briskly executed than we normally pull off, but we still had a good time. We bought our Halloween pumpkin there, along with a little jar of maple cream spread, some maple cotton candy, a big bag of farm-grown apples, and two dozen pumpkin donuts with cinnamon sugar. (The donuts didn't last more than a day, I feel no shame at all in admitting.)

Since the weather was so icky, the day didn't afford as many opportunities for taking good photos as I'd hoped, but I did get a few nice shots of The Wife, The Daughter, and Little Quinn that I have organized into a new Flickr photoset, here. Go have a look.

(Interestingly, Little Quinn handled Pumpkinville quite well, given that it was cold and he was bundled up and we pushed him on plain old ground in his stroller for two hours. He's a tough little bugger.)
