A poll!
Time for a quick poll of my readers, all eight of you! A co-worker asked me this question a while back, probably while I was on hiatus, and he was totally baffled as to why I would answer the way I did. So here it is, and you can all answer in comments:

Pirates have a face, and personality. Ninjas are faceless...anonymous. Pirates get the romance of the sea. Pirates it is, matey!

There is nothing so flamboyantly dangerous, so rollickingly lethal, as a ninja pirate.
Pirates. Well, except for people I really don't like. Then I'll take ninjas...
Pirates. They used to have a decent team in Pittsburgh. The ninjas can't play ball for anything.
