Into the light, lurkers!

One year ago I ran my first annual Delurking Week here at Byzantium's Shores, and I figure it's time to run one again. So, if you will, lurkers, please feel free to drop a note in comments! You can do so anonymously if you wish, of the "Shout-out from Walla Walla, Washington" variety; you can also do so via e-mail if so desired. Feel free to comment, ask something, whatever. I'm curious as to who's out there!

(I'm especially curious about you. No, not you, you. Yeah, you. What are you doing with that chainsaw?)

Hey there. For whatever it's worth to ya, I pop in here a lot, and I'm always glad I did.

Alright, I'll delurk (well, sort of, I'm staying anonymous (as anonymous as the web allows (how's that for nested parentheses?))). I'm not sure how I found your site (I think it was a link from the View from the Foothills), but I've been a daily visitor for a while (well, a bit less than daily since they blocked blogspot at work (they actually wan t me to work when I'm there!). I can't say I agree with you about a whole lot, but I enjoy reading what you've got to say. And I do agree with you about GGK, and that's enough to make me read you with an open mind.

I'm not a lurker, but I don't always leave a comment. Sometimes I do. Anyway, hello from Steph!

Hi pal - no lurker here, but I just wanted to say hey anyway.

Cool that you do this. I look at my stats sometimes and it shows me the towns people log on from but I have no idea who they are or why the come. Maybe just too much free time? Somebody in China keeps cropping up....I am infinitely curious what they find so facinating in my tedious drivel.

I STILL get the occassional hit from teh pie-in-the-face link you left a year ago. They don't seem to have discovered the new pie pics as yet!

Hugs to you and the family. Know you are in my thoughts.

I'm a 99 percent lurker I guess. I visit almost every day but I don't comment very often.

I came to you through allthingsjennifer and pop in pretty regularly to see how you are doing. I like the writing. The point of view, though not completely similar to my own, makes for interesting reads. I've left here more than once with something to think about, which I always welcome.

Hi.

I'm from New England and I still read your blog even though you hate the Pats.

I lurk, I bought a car once in Walla Walla, and I own a small electric chainsaw.

Love keeping up with your blog and really enjoy the google earth pics. Through your links I have found other blogs like Farmgirl Fare and indexed that I am thrill to read on a daily basis. Thank you!!

delurking - is that a real word?

Anonymous said...

Of course it's a real word. I've seen it on the Internet. ;-)

I like to check in once or twice a week. Found you when I was looking for a Reuben sandwich recipe or something...? I log in from Austin, Texas, where I somehow find time to surf the Internet during the day at my government job.
