How many social networking sites/apps do you use?
What prominent social networking sites/apps do you not use?
And what the heck is LinkedIn for, anyway? What good comes of being on that thing? I have zero idea why LinkedIn is a thing.

Facebook is it right now. I was on Twitter for a while but I haven't been on it for months. I liked it and I keep thinking I want to get back into it but I just haven't. No idea why.
I have LinkedIn, but I don't know why.
I have Twitter, but never look at it; blog posts there. I get "follow" requests, which I accept about half the time. I suspect they drop me because I don't provide value.
I have Facebook, initially because it was the only way I knew what was going on in my nieces' lives. I might use it for 45 minutes throughout the day. Post to it when something monumental happens; blog posts automatically there too.
I have no interest in Pinterest. I find Reddit so ugly that I just haven't used it; anything groundbreaking will end up on FB.
And, since I don't have a smartphone, I have no apps at all.
I have G+ but never use it; blog entries get posted there automatically. I have LinkedIn, but, yeah. What the hell does it do? It's just so yuppie. I have Pinterest (which is fun) and used to have Stumble, but these days I have no time to "play" online via web surfing, so it's Facebook and Twitter for me, and even my Twitter use is starting to decline a bit.

Facebook & Twitter. I have a Vine account, but haven't done much with it yet. LinkedIn has actually landed me a couple of job offers (which I had to decline), as well as a couple of freelance jobs. It also helps me stay abreast of what is happening in my industry, and I do expect it to help if/when I ramp up my job search.
I use Facebook. I have accounts all over other social media but I don't really look at them.
I have heard legends of people getting a job via LinkedIn. However, I have never actually met a person who got a job via LinkedIn.
