Yay! I'm not stuck on one way to make it. Besides the basics (B,L, and T) the only absolute essential is mustard. Usually whole wheat bread, sometimes rye, sometimes whatever kind of sandwich rolls look good at the grocery store's bakery. Sometimes I add onions and/or jalapeno peppers or banana peppers.
Yea. Lightly toasted sourdough, thick cut bacon cooked to just before crispy, thick slices of fresh tomato, lettuce and a little mayo (optional-the fat from the bacon and juice from the LT make this sammy juicy enough)

Yea
Toast is better than bread
Mayo
White, wheat, almost anything except rye, which is for pastrami

Nay. I don't hate them, but they never feel like a real, complete sammich to me. Needs some sliced turkey or something to finish it up.
LC Scotty's BLT would feel right at home in my house. That's how I make them.
