We've been looking at patio furniture lately and have been shocked at the price tags involved! Seriously, we don't really want to pay what we'd pay for a couple of pieces of indoor furniture for some stuff we'd only be using six months out of the year, at best. And yet, it seems that there is no "mid-range" for patio furniture -- it's either low-end cheap plastic crap for under $200, and then nice stuff starting at $750. Weird.
Anyway, what's something that gave you some serious sticker shock?

Juicers. $260 for a juicer? A JUICER?
That is weird. The stores around here have a lot of decent mid-range furniture for a lot less than $750.
Just about everything gives me sticker shock. I expect everything to cost what it did 30 years ago.
What it costs to have/run a household period. lol
My, almost everything. But let's talk about home improvement, expanding the bathroom about a foot. YIKES.
DUDE!!! BIG LOTS MAN!!!! www.biglots.com...
I just got sticker shock looking up the price on the patio set we bought ten years ago on sale for about $200.00 from Sears (http://www.sears.com/grand-resort-anna-maria-7pc-dining-set-bundle/p-071CO55250312B?prdNo=3&blockNo=253&blockType=G253). We still have it, and while the paint has chipped a bit on the table it's still like new -- but now it's over $700.00!
