Kind of like asking if The Star Spangled Banner is better than God Save the Queen. God save the queen is of course a better song but the Star Spangled Banner is more stirring. Emotional.
The $25,000 Pyramid is a better theme song all around: Better composed and better as a stand alone tune.
But the Price is Right is, well, the Price is Right. Dada da daah Dada da daah... It fills you with anticipation.
Price is Right wins the emotional vote in the Land of Obvious.
Both of them are so full of 1970s cheese (and the Price is Right was my brother's FAVORITE show from the time he was about 5 to the time he was 8 or so...so every day in the summer, at 11:00 am, I had to listen to that theme music), that I can't say that one is better, or even "less worse" than they other. Both of them make me cringe because they remind me of hot, late 1970s summer middays when we were stuck indoors, had already read all the library books for the week, and our parents' tv set only got four channels.

Is this a serious question? C'mon. The Price Is Right, of course.
I can't bring either theme song to mind, so I'm no help.
I loved Pyramid, but I can't think of the theme, whereas i know the price is right theme right away, though not loving the show. so Price wins.
Ummmm...for you folks who couldn't recall one or both themes, you did notice those links in the post, right?
For strolling down the street, saying "Hey!" to all the people in the neighborhood, $25000 Pyramid. In all other situations, The Price is Right.

I like Jeopardy's "think music" myself.
Saw the links. But if I had to USE the link, then that would mean it's not as memorable, no?
