ReplyDeleteYou know, it was a very small role for Robin, but I loved him in Hamlet. My husband and I were talking about various roles he was in and I mentioned the 1996 film and he looked at me strangely. I told him that, yes, Robin had in fact been in that. It seemed to be a version of Hamlet where the casting director asked "So, what great actors we get for this movie that you would never imagine doing Shakespeare, ever?"
ReplyDeleteI cannot sound off on any of my favorite movies with Lauren in them, as many of her famous roles were opposite Bogart, and on the potential threat of death I confess; I cannot STAND Bogart as an actor.
