I was only a sporadic reader of his, but it saddens me that Steve Gilliard has died. He was a fine writer in Left Blogistan, and that I was never more than a sporadic reader of his is more a product of my political blog reading habits pretty much getting set in stone before I discovered him than a reflection on his work.
Condolences to his family and to those who knew him best.
