The CBS network is getting pounded on a lot lately, with the journalistic standards of its news division being questioned just a tad. But I've got to give the network its due: they're running a "Happy Holidays from CBS" promo that cracks me up every time I see it. You can watch it on the main CBS site; there's a link down on the right-hand side, under "Meet Santa's New CBS Elves". If you haven't seen this, do check it out. It works better the more familiar you are with CBS shows, of course. The first time I saw it, I nearly spit out my beverage when I saw the stop-motion wooden-puppet of Grissom from CSI.
