One last bit o' random linkage, before I retire from Blogging until....well, tomorrow: an intriguing article about the trials-and-tribulations of various authors, before they were published. I'm somewhat past the point of being soothed by the fact that the path to print pretty much sucks for everybody, but it's still nice to read this stuff once in a while.
