I also like archaic and British expletives. In particular I like "poppycock" but I can never remember to use it when an opportunity comes up. <br /><br />Favorite SF expletive or curse: Usually, fake curse words sound silly to me and sort of kicks me out of the story and back into reality. Words like "felgercarb" spoiled the original Battlestar Galactica for me. "Frack" is okay but I can't say I particularly <i>like</i> it. I really like the way cussing is done in <i>Firefly</i>. The Chinese swearing works better for me than made up or substituted English words. The exception, and my favorite "fake" sci-fi curse, is "ruttin'". Given my negative feelings for that remake, though, as well as my basically contrary nature, I don't use it much anymore.
